HISTORY

Founded in 1986, the industrial engineering firm, AGC, first stood out for its expertise in quality assurance systems later becoming an engineering firm expert in diagnosing and improving productivity. Over the years, AGC has carried out many major projects and mandates for prestigious customers in North America, South America, Europe and Africa. Comprised of engineers and specialized technicians in industrial engineering, AGC brings 30 people together who have the optimization of business processes at heart.

MISSION

AGC is a firm specializing in industrial process engineering. AGC assists plants and corporations in maximizing their business process through efficient and strategic interventions, while supporting personnel in the use of resources. The AGC industrial engineering firm promotes teamwork between supervision, operations, maintenance, engineering and technical services with the ultimate goal of making the most of the process.

Marcel Lafontaine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. Highly experienced in human resource management, he is also a specialist in industrial operations and maintenance, as well as in the development and implementation of an ERP/WMS system. Marcel Lafontaine has managed large-scale projects in a number of sectors.

With over 30 years of experience in the field of IT, Alan is a true pillar in the technology industry. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, he has amassed impressive expertise in various sectors such as software development, system architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.

Vice President of R&D

Since 2011, Jonathan Marcoux has held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Auger Groupe Conseil. A mechanical engineer by training, he is recognized as a technological visionary and a true catalyst for innovation within the company. With his extensive field experience, he doesn't hesitate to visit job sites to solve problems himself. Thanks to his leadership, Jonathan has introduced cutting-edge technologies such as Hololens 2, teleportation with Ghost, and the 4D Module tablet for supervisors. His commitment to excellence and innovation continues to drive AGC to new heights in the industry.
Hugo Lafontaine

Hugo Lafontaine

Vice President of Health Care

Hugo Lafontaine est biologiste en physiologie, diplômé de l'Université de Montréal en 2005. Dès le début de sa carrière, il a fait ses preuves dans les blocs opératoires des réseaux de santé québécois et des Maritimes, en se spécialisant pendant 9 ans en orthopédie et 6 ans en chirurgie cardiaque. En 2020, il a rejoint Auger Groupe Conseil, où il met à profit son expérience clinique unique pour contribuer au développement de solutions technologiques innovantes. Son expertise médicale combinée à sa passion pour l’innovation joue un rôle essentiel dans l'évolution des projets médicaux de l’entreprise.
